Nefeli

I found Nefeli by chance on a website looking for a bachata teacher near my area. When I started lessons with her I realized how lucky I was. Unlike any other teacher, she pays great attention to technique and detail, resulting in her developing my style a lot. She helped me understand much better how to lead, and as an experienced dancer, she also taught me how to respect my follower and make her life easier. Finally, she really unblocked me in the sensual part. She gives everything a Bachata dancer will need, from then on it depends on each student how much he wants to work and actually learn.

Initially, we started, as you remember, I had left dancing for some time due to the pandemic. You helped me both with dancing to remember and psychologically to start seeing only positive things.

I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart because I started to socialize even more especially in the dance community and have more self-confidence.

Together we worked on how to stand in front of the follower and how to dance correctly with more determination. You remember I was not your easiest student. However, your advice was very important and I thank you for everything!!

Since we met, I dance all the time and go to as many parties as I can, I continue my lessons both in Latin and in Bachata. You were really one of the biggest foundations in my everyday life!!

My husband and I enjoyed our private Bachata dance class with Nefeli a lot and could recognize a very fast progress!

The private classes made us learn super fast and we could specifically work on techniques we needed more time with.

What we appreciated most is the lovely, humorous and patient way of Nefeli teaching us! All the techniques we've learned were repeated as long as needed, Nefeli highly values details. We've not only learned techniques but also meaning behind dancing, meaning behind movements and the communication with your partner without using words.

We can highly recommend a private course with Nefeli and would always do it again 🥰

One thing I want to say... but don't laugh at my endless enthusiasm... I feel like my life has somehow been filled 😅 Hahah But for the practical things on the topic I found it incredibly useful for me who knew almost nothing Obviously I use as much as I learned...I don't remember them by heart but when a lead does the necessary movements, my body now goes where it needs to 8 out of 10 times It was very helpful that the classes were 3 hours Because in 1 hour you barely have time to warm up before it's over

Generally I found the training very useful and I've tried every time I danced to apply some of what we discussed, and I definitely managed some things and it helped a lot! Obviously it needs practice practice, but I think it's important that you focused on several technical parts because that's what you build on later in figures etc. Hope the feedback helped, and if I think of something more in practice I'll come back!

Overall the feedback is positive, your observations at a personal level were very spot-on 😊 These were things I was doing in bachata but now I do them better knowing more about why 😉

I liked it a lot, I found it very interesting, and it helped me quite a bit with the sensual part since I knew very few things about that aspect and I even learned the [frame/contact] which I didn't know ❤️ To sum it all up, I learned quite a few new things and had a really great time! ❤️
